Sales Associate

     At Carbon Star we offer fashion forward apparel, accessories, and footwear in a customer-friendly environment.
Our Sales Associates are required to sell our products while providing considerable individual customer service in a fun and friendly atmosphere. This is a Part-time position. Some nights and weekends will be required.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Guest Service:

       *     Sell a variety of fashion lines from international and local designers: requiring specialized knowledge of fashion, fit, fabric, and construction while maintaining in depth knowledge about our products and current fashion trends.
       *     Give informed advice regarding appropriate fit, color, and style.
       *     Suggest additional items or services relating to the merchandise that enhances the value of the product to the customer.
       *     Achieve personal sales goals.
Finance and Operations:

       *     Maintain organization of fitting rooms, tables, racks, walls & columns.
       *     Perform required cashier duties, including handling cash, and credit card payments.
       *     Handle customer complaints and exchanges in a positive manner to build customer loyalty.
       *     Maintain presentation standards and perform inventory tasks.
       *     Assists in training new associates.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

       *     Ability to utilize various selling techniques to build and retain a customer following.
       *     Six to Twelve months of successful retail selling or related experience
