Honors Excellence in Schools

On April Fools, there was no fooling around as The Beverly Hills Education Foundation honored the 2005 Apple award recepients at its annual Apple Ball at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Honorees came from all five schools: Horace Mann, Beverly Vista, Hawthorne, El Rodeo and Beverly Hills High School. Over 650 guests bid on live and silent auctions featuring trips, jewels, premieres and a live Wheaten Terrier puppy. BHEF provides financial support to assist in achieving excellence in education. Over $175,000. was raised to benefit the schools.
