Cuba: A Lifetime of Passion

Director's Statement:

"Cuba: A Lifetime of Passion" is the 8th documentary film that I have shot in and about Cuba. It has also been my most difficult. The lines of "passion" are so firmly rooted with the Cuban question, that objective analysis of Fidel Castro's revolution has been mired in an extremely vitriolic discourse about "who is right" on the Cuba question. Getting in the middle of this battle has been an emotional roller coaster for everyone involved with this process. My sincere desire for this film is that it can help get both sides of this issue beyond the negative paradigms of the past, and create a dialogue, which will be essential for the Cuba that is sure to come in the post-Castro period.
